I am Ana – a passionate educator and entrepreneur dedicated to connecting people through language and personal growth.
As the founder of Speak Portuguese With Ana, I help expats, digital nomads, and language enthusiasts master Portuguese through personalized, engaging experiences that build both confidence and cultural understanding.
With Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the UK’s National College for Teaching and Leadership, plus extensive experience as an examiner for Cambridge University Press & Assessment and Pearson Edexcel, I bring proven expertise to every lesson.
My teaching philosophy centers on João de Deus’s pedagogical methods, creating a positive, interactive environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
Beyond language instruction, I’m an intuitive life coach through my practice Empowerment & Clarity Coaching, supporting individuals navigating life transitions and personal transformation.
I believe that language learning and personal growth go hand in hand. Through patience, positivity, and proven methods, I help my students and clients unlock their potential and embrace new opportunities for connection and success.

These meetings are designed for all levels. No prior knowledge is required, although learners may have had some informal exposure to the language previously (e.g. holiday).
